  • Yes! Because we now have a location at 5548 Trade Street in Hope Mills, NC, we do not pop-up as much as before. Nevertheless, just like a pop-up, you are able to shop in store with us and go home with your next read.

  • While majority of the books are pre-loved, there are new ones mixed among the rest. Even more so, there are used books in like-new condition, meaning they’re as good as a new book, but cheaper than the retail price.

  • From a variety of places: estate sales, private individuals, library sales, thrift stores, and other kinds of sales. I also order new books from book distributers.

    However, we love getting gently loved books from our local reader community by offering in-store credit for traded in books.

  • If you have non-damaged and non-annotated books with which you would like to part, you can bring them in during open hours.

    We really do appreciate you helping to keep great books in circulation for readers to enjoy at affordable prices!

  • Our e-readers and tablets are used, just like most of our stock. However, each has been tested, reset, cleaned, and stocked with new batteries to ensure quality.

  • All sales at the stand are final sale.

    Sales from the store can be refunded with a receipt up to 7 days after purchase.

    If you ordered from Bookshop.org, they do have a return policy that can be read here.

  • Unfortunately, if you have lost your reward card with stamps on it, I can only provide another blank one for you to start over. The stamps you earned on the lost card cannot be replaced.
